Ball Corp. to construct $300 million can manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania

Ball Corp. is buying a 1.1 million-square-foot building in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and spending more than $300 million turning it into an aluminum can factory expected to employ 230 people.

The Broomfield-based can and beverage packing giant (NYSE: BLL) announced the project Wednesday.
