A Denver-based flight training company has landed something more valuable than an aircraft.
FlightSafety Services Corp., headquartered near Denver International Airport, won a $220.8 million contract to instruct naval aviators and crews for the U.S. Navy’s newest training helicopter.
The firm-fixed-price contract covers instructing aircrews for the TH-73A Advanced Helicopter Training System and meet an annual pilot rate teaching 600 student aviators annually, the military’s award notice said.
