Polis introduces furloughs for hundreds of state workers

Gov. Jared Polis will require all most Colorado state workers who earn more than $50,000 a year to take as many as four furlough days before July 1 — a budget-cutting move that marks the first time in roughly a decade that the state has furloughed public employees.
